March, 7-10 Askeri Gallery took part in the international art fair of contemporary art Scope New York 2019 (USA). The gallery introduced the works of artists Paul Polanski and Peter Opheim to the new public.
In the past, Askeri Gallery has successfully presented Polanski’s works from the series "War of the worlds" at the international art fair Art Kaohsiung 2018 in Taiwan. The futuristic fantasies of the conflict of humanity with artificial intelligence or aliens and original everyday motifs of modern society in the Arctic landscapes attracted the American viewer.
Exclusively for Scope New York Peter Opheim created a new series of works entitled "T. W. L. B. U.", which stands for “Those we Love Become Us”. Recognizable, but each time - individual clay characters of the artist get completely new color scheme in the new series – pastel.
