Gennady Troshkov
Gennady Ivanovich is a virtuoso in all technical manifestations, genres and techniques. This is not only a trait of his character and an urgent need for a master, but also a form of opposition to chaos. Graphics in all printed forms, drawing, watercolor, painting and sculpture, as well as decorative and applied art - tapestries, silk murals, as illustrations for post–war Japanese poetry – all these are the hypostases of one artist, stylistically unified in all genres. Gennady Troshkov is an absolute universal, not in form, but in essence, according to a unified approach to plastic culture.
Gennady Troshkov's compositions resemble dreams, where our consciousness is immersed in a multi-layeredworld. This world is constantly changing its color states, its tonality, turning into a psychic field, shifting into a plasma reality, flaming like a baroque.
Formally, it consists of tubular soft structures, flexible like hoses, but at certain points in time capable of contracting and stretching, changing their configuration and quality. The globalism of this optics allows us to model the future of our planet, its fantastic communications that can "entangle" and saturate any space and any volume.
