close in spirit, but also to acquaint them with a new artist ASKERI GALLERY Masha Rudenko. Masha's works are distinguished by their scale and unique technique, which makes them incredibly
attractive and worthy of attention of collectors and connoisseurs of modern art".
The exhibition, which will be held from July 13 till July 26 at ASKERI GALLERY, will show the works of Masha Rudenko made in mixed technique of collage from paper, in which Masha has been working
for the last two years. She invented this technique on a journey, using improvised materials and body language. The main theme of her new series is escapism (escape).
the desire to escape from routine, routine, boredom. The modern rhythm of life often leaves no time to look inside oneself. For many, the pandemic was a forced pause that gave them a chance to
to stop, reboot, and think about harmony and relationship with the world. Maria uses the body as a personal visual tool, a language of representation of human emotions and states. Paper as a primary material becomes a way for the artist to learn flexibility and minimalism
in the creative process.
"Art for me is the engine that helps me fully navigate the journey of life. I find harmony in myself through the creative process, while working my ego dissolves and it is as if I am immersed in another, parallel space. For me being a multidisciplinary artist means being able to speak different languages through different mediums. The more I work, the more questions I have about myself and the world around me, the answers to which I seek in my practices." - Masha Rudenko.
