On March 17, 2025, the ASKERI GALLERY in Moscow hosted the opening of the new exhibition project "CREATURE OF EMOTIONS", which brought together the works of American artist Peter Opheim and Spanish-American artist Juan Miguel Palacios. Both masters turn to emotions in their paintings, visualizing the most vivid feelings through expressive images. For Opheim, these are fabulous creatures that embody children's desires and dreams. For Palacios, a woman becomes a reflection of pure emotion, whose portrait images reveal the power of the heroine and emphasize the integral role of sensuality in everyone's life. "Peter and I met 8 years ago in New York. From the first look at the works of this artist, I realized that I wanted to bring them to Russia. Soon we signed an exclusive agreement, and since then we have been representing Peter on both Russian and international platforms. His paintings are inspiring, reminiscent of childhood, touching to the depths of the soul. The second participant of the exhibition is Juan Miguel Palacios, who presented his figurative panels. These works are very rare: recently, the artist has been working in the genre of abstraction. I am glad to have the opportunity to show paintings dedicated to the power and beauty of emotions. The exhibition raises important topics that give us the opportunity to get to know ourselves from a new perspective. The sensory world is an important part of each of us.
