Askeri Gallery is a young rapidly developing gallery, founded by Polina Askeri. The gallery opened in 2015 in a cozy space on Povarskaya Street in the heart of Moscow (RF). Askeri Gallery works with both young and established artists, representing main trends of Western and Eastern contemporary art.
The gallery regularly opens new exhibitions, actively implementing projects on partners’ sites (including the state museums and private companies), represents artists at international contemporary art fairs.The gallery presents both recognized masters of painting, graphics and sculpture, and promising young authors. Askeri Gallery cooperates not only with Russian but also with foreign artists and introduce various trends in contemporary art: post-impressionism by Nikita Makarov, Romain Froquet’s street art (France), original graphics of Andrey Remnev, hyperrealism of Paul Polanski and Mikhail Blinov.
Polina Askeri is an art collector and gallery owner, model and journalist. For more than 10 years she has been collecting contemporary art. Polina’s taste, visual experience and involvement in the context of global trends in contemporary art allowed her to act as an expert in this field and to open a gallery in Moscow.
