Press release
ASKERI GALLERY presents four artists completely different in styles, techniques, themes and perceptions of the world the painter Pavel Polanski; an artist who works on the verge of painting, sculpture and design, Gleb Skubachevsky; student of Zaha Hadid, sculptor Daniel Zakh; and French street artist Romain Froquet. The stand is divided into two parts: white and black, a kind of Yin and Yang.
WHITE: visible, obvious and general. The central work of Pavel Polanski is devoted to "escape" from the office, finding a new reality, harmony with the world around him.
Living organisms by Gleb Skubachevsky "... exude tremendous energy into space" and fill it with new experience of interaction.
The INFLOW series by Daniel Zakh is the result of the influence of forces on matter, transformation and change. Zakh creates his own universe, in which “new” rules for the appearance and existence of objects arise.
BLACK: what is happening inside each of us: turning to faith, creating new aspects of worship: believing in the best, transforming our consciousness and our way of life. This part of the stand features a triptychs and diptychs by Daniel Zakh.
Romain Froquet's graphic works are located "outside" the stand, on the outside of it and reflect the reality around us, outside, outside the boundaries of our physical existence. Natural, pure, flowering ornaments embody nature itself, cleared of human presence, improving the ecological situation.
The works presented at the ASKERI GALLERY stand are united by the idea of transformation: changing the way of life, focusing on internal processes, and improving the quality of life. The changes that were caused by the pandemic would soon take place anyway. We live in a new age of technology, environmental problems and our way of life is being transformed.
