In 2021, ASKERI GALLERY took part in the Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair for the fifth time.We've presented artists from different parts of the world.
At the stand, you could see the works of the already beloved world-famous artist Jay Yong Kim. His ceramic donuts have captured the hearts of many. The artist creates glazed sweets from ceramics and decorates them with Swarovski crystals. Another Korean artist presented at the ASKERI GALLERY booth this year was Kwan Yong Chan, who creates his unique works from triangular elements wrapped in mulberry paper - a rare material that was widely used in everyday life and art from the XIX to the XX centuries.
The local art scene was presented this year by a young artist Masha Rudenko. Her delicate works, made in the collage technique of colored paper, filled the stand with a special sensuality. The main theme of her new series is escapism - the desire to escape from the mundane, routine and boredom.
